What do you feed a 25lb cat?

Kitties think all people food is good!  And especially chocolate!  This is not good for your cat!  DO NOT FEED THE ANIMALS PEOPLE FOOD!

We look at the quality of the food our cats eat.  It is important to find something low in corn and starch.  These ingredients can lead to diabetes.

You can control the food that your cats are eating.  You can provide a healthy diet rich in nutrients that will allow your kitten to grow healthy and strong.  You can avoid giving your baby things that can hurt him in the long term.  Be smart about what you choose to feed your cat and your cat will live a long healthy life.

We give our cats Nature's Variety Instinct dry cat food. The Instinct product does not contain any grains, thus avoiding the problems associated with starches.  The reason we have selected Instinct products for our animals is that it contains one of the most important supplements rich in trace minerls, calcium Montmorillonite. This one ingredient sets Nature's Variety apart from all other cat foods.  In the wild animals all over the world will travel hundreds of miles to eat calcium Montmorillonite.  It is a natural clay deposit that helps Detoxify their bodies; while providing them with essential trace minerals in their diets.

In July of 2006, the animal planet put together the documented research on calcium Montmorillonite and how important it is to animals in the wild.  We have used this source of trace minerals for a number or years.  My husband and I own a supplement manufacturing company; and one thing that sets us apart from other multivitamins that are available for human consumption is the use  of calcium Montmorillonite in our multivitamins for nearly 60 years.

I can’t stress enough how important it is to look up and find out what is in the food you give your cats.  I was  shocked to see that so many of the  foods on the market had such high content of starches that would lead to serious health problems.

Take advantage of the internet.  Research what you are going to feed your animals.  Be smart about their futures.  A few extra pennies spent on a good quality food will keep your vet bills down through the years.

Keep clean water available at all times.

Your kitten is your family and you need to make decisions that will be your own.   I can recommend foods and diet; but it is up to you to decide what you will do.

These are two links that may help you understand what is really in the cat food you can buy.
